Trainee Librarian

• QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s Degree
• EXPERIENCE: 0- 1 Year

Key Responsibilities:

• Archive equipment (LTO tapes, hard drives, memory cards) and maintain safekeeping.
• Label all material and maintain records of it.
• Archive live programs and recorded videos and update archive logs.
• Share material with engineering, transmission and production teams.
• Store and handle media safely.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of footage.
• Provide material for on-air and office use as needed.
• Assist with editing work in emergencies.

Key Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Archives and Records Management or similar field.
• Some knowledge of digital archiving and media storage
• Basic understanding of LTO systems and broadcast storage (preferred).
• Good organization and record keeping skills.
• Pressure me to work and complete tasks on time.
• Attention to detail and organize records in an organized manner.
• Basic knowledge of video editing (preferred).
