ASSISTANT MANAGER – INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING (Cut to Pack | Home Textile)

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in IE within cut-to-pack operations (home textile preferred).

SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of SMV calculation, line balancing, and productivity improvement.
• Hands-on experience in managing production efficiency.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead Industrial Engineering activities for cut-to-pack operations, with primary focus on stitching section.
• Conduct time and motion studies and establish accurate SMVs.
• Perform line balancing and manpower optimization to achieve target efficiencies.
• Monitor daily production performance, efficiency, and KPIs.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
• Coordinate with production, planning, and quality teams to meet delivery and efficiency targets.
• Ensure implementation of IE best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare IE reports, efficiency analysis, and performance dashboards.
• Maintain documentation of SMVs, layouts, and standard operating procedures.
