Express News is seeking a Senior Tax Officer with strong hands-on experience in federal and provincial taxation to join the team in Karachi.

Eligibility Criteria & Requirements:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce

Experience:
3–4 years of relevant experience in a tax-focused role

Skills:
Hands-on knowledge of FBR, SRB, PRA e-portals
Tax compliance and filing procedures
Analytical and detail-oriented
Financial reporting and documentation skills

Qualifications:

Experience managing federal and provincial taxes
Proficiency in Sales Tax and Income Tax filing
Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
Ability to coordinate with internal teams and maintain accurate records

Responsibilities:

Manage Sales Tax on Services for Sindh (SRB) and Punjab (PRA), including filings and compliance
Handle Federal Income Tax and Sales Tax matters (FBR), ensuring timely submissions and accurate documentation
Maintain proper records of all tax filings and communications
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
Provide guidance on tax-related issues to management and finance teams
