Position Overview

Sapphire Diamond is seeking a skilled Senior Assistant Manager – GWP to lead its Apparel Washing team. The role is focused on ensuring efficient, high-quality, and sustainable washing processes while managing production targets, supervising teams, and coordinating with multiple departments to maintain operational excellence.

This position plays a critical role in achieving production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the company’s sustainability initiatives in apparel washing operations.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Apparel Washing team who will ensure efficient, high-quality, and sustainable washing processes in our apparel division. The ideal candidate will manage production, optimize workflows, and supervise teams to achieve operational excellence.

Eligibility Criteria & Requirements:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field

Experience:
4–6 years of hands-on experience in Apparel Washing Production

Skills:
Advanced technical knowledge of apparel washing processes
Decision-making and problem-solving skills
Team management and leadership
Operational planning and process optimization
Proactive and forward-thinking mindset

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of garment washing recipes and eco-friendly washing techniques
Ability to manage production volumes up to 5,000 garments per day
Hands-on experience in maintaining SOPs, documentation, and quality parameters
Collaboration with maintenance, electrical, quality, and packing teams

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily shift production to achieve defined targets
Oversee operations in the GWP section, maintaining recipes and step targets
Handle high production volumes while ensuring eco-friendly and cost-effective processes
Maintain proper documentation for traceability and historical reference
Plan and allocate machine-wise production for optimal productivity
Ensure adherence to SOPs and quality parameters across all processes
Supervise and coordinate teams including supervisors, operators, assistant operators, and helpers
Collaborate with Maintenance, Electrical, Quality, and Packing departments to ensure smooth operations
