Qualifications

• 4 plus years of proven experience as a Network Engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Cisco CCNA / CCNP certification preferred

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching, and network security
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar networking equipment
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Key Responsibilities and Duties

To assist in achieving departmental objectives through:

• LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and cloud network maintenance

   

• Routers, security points and firewalls and management

   

• Monitor network speed and availability

   

• Resolve network problems and errors immediately

   

• Ensure network (firewall, control, etc.)

   

• Manage IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN and routing

   

• Network upgrades and planning

   

• Maintain complete documentation of work network

   

• Work with IT and team

   

• Follow company policy and IT best practices
