Job Responsibilities

As a Certified Medical Coder, your responsibilities will include:

  • Review and validate diagnosis and procedure codes.
  • Monitor electronic claims (e-claims) and e-prescriptions while resolving coding-related issues.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with insurance regulations and coding standards.
  • Manage claim denials and contribute to revenue cycle optimization.
  • Coordinate with clinical teams, billing departments, insurance providers, and approval teams.
  • Perform coding audits and provide feedback or training to improve coding quality.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Medical or Allied Health field.
  • Certified Medical Coder (CPC, CCS, or equivalent certification).
  • Previous hospital coding or DRG experience is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of health insurance policies and medical claims processing.
