Lighting Designer

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Estimated Salary: AED 7,000 – AED 10,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

As a Lighting Designer, your responsibilities will include:

• Develop creative lighting concepts based on client requirements and architectural designs.
• Design lighting layouts for commercial, retail, hospitality, and residential projects.
• Perform photometric calculations and lighting performance analysis.
• Prepare detailed lighting plans using DIALux and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and project teams.
• Recommend suitable lighting products and technical specifications.
• Ensure all lighting designs comply with applicable building regulations and industry standards.
• Support project implementation from concept development through final completion.
• Maintain project documentation and technical design records.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in:
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Architecture
  • Interior Design
  • Lighting Design
  • Or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of professional lighting design experience.
• UAE experience is highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in:
  • DIALux
  • AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of photometric calculations and lighting standards.
• Experience working on commercial, hospitality, retail, and residential projects.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
