Simpaisa is looking for a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of our backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, validating system functionality, and collaborating closely with development teams to maintain high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and run test plans and test cases for back-end systems and APIs**.
• Do functional, integration and system testing** for APIs and microservices.
• Check that API requests/responses and data** are all working properly.
• Do database testing**, verifying SQL queries and data.
• Use API automation testing** tools such as Postman.
• Integrate automated tests** into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with developers to find and resolve issues**.
• *Review requirements** and identify risks in testing.
• Maintain test reports and bug tracking**.
• Provide performance testing and UAT support** when necessary.

Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
