Art Teacher Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging art lessons and creating a positive learning environment where students can explore their creative potential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering creative Art lessons aligned with the curriculum.

• Teaching different art concepts, techniques, styles, and artistic media.

• Encouraging creativity, imagination, critical thinking, and artistic development.

• Assessing students’ learning and monitoring their academic and artistic progress.

• Maintaining effective classroom management and applying teaching strategies to meet different learning needs.

• Using digital tools and educational technology to support Art instruction.

• Organizing student artwork and contributing to school exhibitions and events.

Requirements and Qualifications

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a relevant subject, along with a recognized teaching qualification.

• At least three years of teaching experience in the UAE.

• Experience with the American Curriculum is highly preferred.

• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Good knowledge of Art teaching strategies and instructional practices.

• Ability to teach a variety of artistic techniques and media.

• IELTS overall score of 5.5 for non-native English speakers.
