Hiring – Footwear Designer

Education: Bachelors in footwear designing
Experience: 2-4 years in gents
Location: Lahore

Responsibilities:

• This role focuses on the creation of original and creative footwear design concepts, from initial ideas to detailed drawings.
• This includes sketching out designs and producing accurate 2D renderings using design software, including measurements, materials and construction details.
• The position requires staying updated on the latest footwear and fashion trends, understanding customer preferences, and studying market data and competitive products to guide design decisions
• .The designer selects appropriate materials, colors, and components that balance style, comfort, and functionality, while collaborating closely with sourcing and     technical teams to ensure material availability and that designs can be developed efficiently.
• This role is about working together and developing designs for production.
• This involves working closely with pattern makers and technical designers to create shoe samples.
• Clear and complete design details are developed so that the factory can easily understand them.
• Designs are tested for fit, comfort and usability, and changes are made if necessary.
• This role also involves teamwork with design, technical and production teams to smoothly take the design from idea to final product.
