Accountant Vacancy at Al Khalidiya Group

The selected Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities for the division and ensuring that financial transactions and records are properly maintained. The position requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage multiple accounting tasks within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will handle a range of financial and accounting duties, including maintaining invoices, receipts, payments, and other accounting records. The role also involves managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger accounts, and monitoring outstanding balances.

The successful candidate will also track project-related costs, expenses, and financial transactions. They will coordinate with procurement, production, sales, and project teams on financial matters and verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, and supporting documentation.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with monthly financial reports, cost reports, and management summaries. The Accountant may also support budgeting, cost control, project profitability analysis, audits, VAT documentation, and other finance-related requirements.

Accountant Job Requirements

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 4+ years of UAE experience as an Accountant is required, preferably within construction or manufacturing.

Candidates should have good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures, along with practical experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and expense tracking. Knowledge of project costing and cost control will be an advantage.

Good proficiency in MS Excel is required, while experience with accounting or ERP software is an advantage. Applicants should also have knowledge of UAE VAT and basic tax accounting requirements.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are important for this position. Candidates should be detail-oriented, accurate with financial records, and capable of working under deadlines.
